Big Sam’s start to his managerial career at Rovers could not have started better as a brace from Benni Mac and a poached goal bullet from Jason Roberts led the Rovers to almost an assured victory inside the first 27 minutes at Ewood Park on Saturday.
With RSC ruled out, Rovers went with Benni Mac [...]

Right, so my first bit was cut short as apperently missing a final exam because of breaking Rovers news isn’t accepted at Uni. Well, we won’t quibble over who should make the policies( I should) but I’m back now to fill in all the gaps.
Now, right off the bat I’m at a disadvantage cause when [...]

” There was some good things to take away from the lads performance. We played [...]

What is going on? Please, let me know

Dec 4th, 2008 | Source: Blackburn Offside | Category: Latest Blackburn blogs

I don’t even know what to write anymore. Blogging at the Offside has become not the most happy of occasions seeing as there is nothing positive to report. Tevez just ran a muck on us yesterday as we were thrown out of the Carling Cup and onto our backsides into a dark alley to be [...]

Rovers 2-3 Pompey; A Game of Goals, Missed Chances, and Blown Calls

Nov 30th, 2008 | Source: Blackburn Offside | Category: Latest Blackburn blogs

The first half was just terrible. I dont even know if we can call that football. Whatever.
Then someone lit a fire under Pompey’s asses. And Rovers weren’t ready. 2 goals later the game looked hopeless. Had it had been the Rovers of a few years ago or even last year, it probably would have been. [...]

Role reversal; Rovers 1-2 Sunderland w/ Highlights

Nov 16th, 2008 | Source: Blackburn Offside | Category: Latest Blackburn blogs

While that picture of Samba scoring that fantastic header looks great, Sunderland pulled a reversal of the midweek result by beating Rovers 2-1 at Ewood Park. This furthers the run of absolutely abysmal results at home this season and sees Rovers slip into the bottom three. Ugh. Just the two words typed together should never [...]
